About the collection
THE TALE OF AN ENCOUNTER
Boscoier is the tale of an encounter that turns into a friendship. It tells the story of Bosco, « the bañista’s son », and Oier, « the arrantzale’s son » —and the tension between their origins. It refers to Hondarribia: Bosco’s summer residence and Oier’s hometown. Boscoier translates a passion for fashion, craftsmanship, tradition, and beauty. It begins in the Basque Country and continues in Paris.
Nota bene: « bañista » (bather in Spanish), « arrantzale » (fisherman in Basque).
TWO UNIVERSES, ONE SIGHT
In Bosco's figure, the Basque Country’s imaginary embodies summer holidays —memories filled with nostalgia, family tradition, admiration, and respect. Influenced by classical art and culture, his vision of Euskadi is romantic, intellectual, sensitive, and intimate, yet undeniably external.
